AmaWaterways with APT unveils their 2021 itineraries featuring new ship AmaLucia, four new itineraries as well as pre and post cruise land programmes in Europe.

The line will welcome 156-passenger AmaLucia in March 2021 which is a sister ship to AmaKristina, AmaLea and AmaSiena which is launching next year. She will feature signature twin balconies, connecting staterooms and multiple dining venues, including The Chef’s Table.

“We are thrilled to unveil our 2021 offerings which will showcase both fantastic new destinations and our award-winning fleet. France is a huge focus with AmaKristina moving over to the Rhône to join AmaCello who will embark on a new itinerary exploring both the Burgundy and Provence regions,” says managing director Stuart Perl.

“High demand on the lower Danube has seen us add more departures and we have introduced new land programmes to Geneva and Lake Como, which will delight our loyal repeat guests and attract discerning travellers looking for unique experiences!”

The four new European itineraries are ‘Impressions of the Seine & Paris’, ‘Essence of Burgundy & Provence’, ‘Rhine Castles & Swiss Alps’, and ‘Best of Holland & Belgium’.

In addition, AmaWaterways will further enhance its pre- and post-cruise experiences with a new land extension in the Champagne region of France where guests can visit acclaimed vineyards and savour tastings of Veuve Clicquot and Moet et Chandon.

This land programme will be available as an add-on to Europe’s ‘Rivers & Castles’, ‘Rhine & Moselle Splendours’ and ‘Vineyards of the Rhine & Moselle’ itineraries.
