Avalon Waterways will suspend all sailings for an additional two months until 31 August this year.

However, passengers can reschedule their travel plans in 2020, 2021 or 2022 without incurring any cancellation fees.

Avalon will also give them a bonus credit of up to $300 per person when they rebook their holiday.

“There is still uncertainty in travel with inconsistent plans for reopening regions and countries as well as compromised air schedules and access to the world’s must-see sites,” said Gai Tyrrell, managing director Australasia of Globus family of brands which includes Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon.

“To add some certainty to this situation, we are giving control back to our travellers and their travel agents, by being proactive and looking ahead through August,” Ms Tyrrell added.

Globus is extending its Peace of Mind Travel Plan to customers who can now rebook their holidays without incurring any cancellation fee and get a bonus credit of up to $300 per person.

“The world has changed but our commitment to our guests’ safety, comfort and peace-of-mind remains steadfast. To that end, we have used this temporary pause to establish a worldwide assurance team, developing enhanced on-trip protocols and procedures to ensure the health and happiness of those who entrust their holidays with us,” Ms Tyrrell added.
