Crystal River Cruises will be sailing an array of seven to 16-day itineraries in 2020 including special Oberammergau decennial performance voyages and Christmas Market cruises.

The Oberammergau Passion Play happens every 10 years in an open-air theatre and tells the final period of Jesus’ life before his crucifixion. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and Crystal are offering guests sailing on selected October 2020 itineraries, the chance to watch the play.

Guests onboard the Crystal Mahler, Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel on selected itineraries will be able to visit the tiny village of Obermmergau for the play.

Another highlight itinerary is the Rhine Christmas Markets voyage. The special 10-night voyage sialing between Amsterdam and Basel that begins and ends with double overnights in each city.

Some of the other voyages guests can book are the Budapest and Regensburg sailings which include overnights in Budapest, Regensburg and Vienna as well as calls to Durnstein and Melk in Australia, Passau in Germany as well as a cruising through the Wachau Valley.

Crystal has also combined the Danube, Rhine and Main for a 16-night cruise between Budapest and Amsterdam and features overnights in the two cities plus Vienna, Regensburg and Rudesheim. Guests will also call at Bratislava, Durnstein, Melk, Passau, Regensburg, Nurnburg, Rudesheim, Bamberg, Cologne, Miltenburg and Wurzburg as well as Koblence and the middle Rhine River Valley.
