Riviera Travel, one of the fastest growing river cruise lines, has christened its ninth ship and has plans to launch three more by the end of 2019.

The MS Robert Burns which has the capacity for 167-passengers will be sailing along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers during her first year. Then, she’ll be sailing on a variety of the company’s itineraries including the Cruise the Heart of Europe, Budapest to the Black Sea as well as the Enchanting Rhine & Yuletide Markets during Christmas.

The smaller 121 MS Douro Splendour will be launched in August and she’s designed to fit through the Douro’s narrow locks. But guests won’t have to forfeit comfort – there will be a special lounge, bar, restaurant, fitness room and spa onboard.

Next year, the line will introduce two new ships – the MS William Wordsworth and the MS George Eliot. Each ship will have a panoramic observation lounge, main restaurant, wellness area, boutique and a second, more casual restaurant.

The MS William Wordsworth will sail along the Danube while the MS George Eliot will be on the Rhine, Main and Danube.
