Teeming River Cruises is spreading its wings, offering cruises and safaris to South Africa in February next year.

The “once-in-a-lifetime” trip combines a safari adventure at Chobe National Park, a three-night stay in CroisiEurope’s luxurious lodge in Botswana, a three-night cruise on Lake Kariba aboard the 16-passenger, boutique ship, African Dream and a private plane tour of Victoria Falls.

Passengers will also be able to include a mission trip to God’s Hope Christian School – a charity supported by Teeming River Cruises’ owners Jeff and Gina Paglialonga.

Teeming Africa itinerary
The cruise embarks on Africa’s largest man-made lake, Lake Kariba

“Embark for a unique cruise on Africa’s largest man-made Lake Kariba. The lake stretches the long border between Zambia and Zimbabwe and represents a precious resource for the animals that gravitate to its shores.

“Days will be marked by viewing wildlife along the banks of the lake, water safaris by small boats to islands and inlets of Matusadona National Park in Zimbabwe and African sunsets soaked in the sun deck,” says Teeming.

Passengers will also be taken by small boats to discover the Gache Gache River and it’s wildlife and in the evening, they will taken in small, private boats to experience the fabulous sunset at Changa.

At Chobe National Park, guests will experience a full-day safari to see wild elephants, as the park is home to more than a quarter of the elephant population in Africa.

Lunch will be served on a floating restaurant in the middle of the river before boarding small boats to sail the river to Sedudu Island and its marshes. There will also be a tour to the Impalila Islands to discover the traditional Namibian customs and culture.
After the cruise, passengers will fly in private planes to Victoria Falls, have lunch on the Zambezi River followed by a tour by foot to the falls.

Prior to the start of the cruise and safari, Teeming is organising a mission trip to God’s Hope Christian School which provides education to 1000 underprivileged children.

The mission tour is the brainwave of Jeff and Gina Paglialonga, who personally donated $4000 worth of textbooks to the school’s students earlier this year. Now Teeming has decided to donate US$500 to the school for each cabin booked on its new African river cruise and safari tour.

Prices for the nine-day cruise and safari adventure start at US$5999pp or two suites at US$6499pp. It departs Johannesburg on 6 February 2020.
