Riviera River Cruises has announced their new ship, the MS Lord Tennyson will be launched in 2021.

The line has also revealed their biggest ever selection of itineraries, solo cruises and sailings throughout Europe. In total, there will be 20 itineraries including nine itineraries, dedicated for solo travellers with no single supplement. And in total, 350 voyages.

The MS Lord Tennyson will be the seventh all-suite ship in the fleet and will feature amenities like several restaurants, a fitness centre, sundeck as well as a spa and wellness area.

The ship will be able to cater for 169 guests in the MS Lord Tennyson’s 88 suites.

One of the lines’ newest itineraries, the Amsterdam, Cologne and the Best of Holland & Flanders River Cruise, starts in the capital of the Netherlands and cruises to the city of Rotterdam. The ship then sails to the cobbled streets of Antwerp before arriving in Cologne.

Some of the highlights of the sailing include exploring the canal-streets of Amsterdam, the Kinderdijk windmills and a choice of visits to the Airborne Museum or Het Loo Palace in Arnhem.

On the ship, the suites will be filled with L’Occitane en Provence toiletries, a bottle of chilled Prosecco on arrival, a platter of seasonal fruit during the cruise as well as an aperitif each evening.

The restaurants onboard, will reflect the country guests travel through. For example, on cruises, guests will feast on classic French charcuterie, regional cheeses and traditional pastries and breads in the La Brasserie restaurant.

On the Rhine and Danube cruises, guests will find classic European dishes which will be served in the Riverview Kitchen restaurant.
