Riviera Travel has added exclusive solo departures to its 2019 itinerary schedule.

The British line is adding two additional departures on the Danube and Douro rivers and guests will be able to sail without paying a single supplement.

Riviera launched its solo traveller cruisers program last year on the Danube and Rhone rivers, but due to the popularity, have increased both the number of departure dates and itineraries available.

On the MS William Wordsworth, there will be a departure of The Blue Danube River Cruise for Solo Travellers on November 1, 2019. On November 10, 2019, there is a departure of The Douro, Porto & Salamanca River Cruise for Solo Travellers aboard the MS Douro Splendour.

Australian sales manager for Riviera Travel, Thomas Morgan, “We have cemented our reputation here as an affordable, five-star river cruise operator that does things differently,” Mr Morgan said. “Our simple-to-understand fares are up to 50 per cent lower, we look after solo passengers with supplement-free cabins on very cruise, we don’t discount – so our guests don’t discover others have paid less than them for the same cabin – and we don’t automatically include gratuities in fares, allowing guests to tip as they like, which Australians love.”
