And to save you wearing out your fingers flipping through the sites, we’ve rounded up a list of best river cruise deals so you can make the most of your holiday budget.

APT with AmaWaterways

APT with AmaWaterways is offering free roundtrip airfare on select 2019 sailings throughout Europe.

There are multiple river cruise itineraries sailing the Danube, Rhine, Moselle and Main rivers where you can enjoy free airfare.

Avalon Waterways

Avalon Waterways has a few offers lined up but get in quick because they end in less than a month, the soonest of the lot, on February 19, 2019.

Solo travellers rejoice! The line is waiving the single supplement across their 2019 Asia and Europe river cruises.

If joining their Jewels of Central Europe itinerary, departing Remich or Budapest on August 1, 2019, you could be enjoying savings of up to $6,152 as a solo traveller.

The line is also running an offer on their 2019 Asian and European itineraries where there are savings of up to $4000 per couple to be had.

Their Asian itineraries are generally longer, running from 13 to 21 days, while their European itineraries start from eight days and goes up to 15 days.

For an early 2019 departure, consider getting on one of their Asian itineraries that sails the Mekong River to Vietnam and Cambodia.

For shorter sailings later in the year, their Romantic Rhine and The Legendary Danube itineraries, sailing for eight and 10 days respectively, are going at around 35 per cent off their regular fares.

Viking River Cruises

The line is holding an Explorer Sale, which includes free flights to Russia, France, Europe and Southeast Asia.

Catch your free flights to Russia on their 2019/20 Waterways of the Tsars 13-day itinerary sailing from St Petersburg to Moscow or vice versa.

You can also book ahead on a 2020 France’s finest 15-day sailing from Paris to Avignon vice versa to secure free flights.

Viking is also offering free flights to a European classic, Amsterdam to Budapest vice versa, on their 2019/20 15-day Grand European Tour itinerary.

Fancy sailing along Asia’s longest river? Join their 17-day Roof of the World itinerary that takes you to the Yangtze River, Beijing, Tibet and Shanghai.

There are also discounted flights at $995pp to be found on other 2019/20 European itineraries like Passage to Eastern Europe, Portugal’s River of Gold and Danube Waltz.

The Explorer Sale ends March 31, 2019.

Scenic

Scenic is also running a ‘See the World in 2019’ campaign with special offers available till March 29, 2019.

Sail the European rivers with Scenic’s special offers on flights, itineraries and the Asian itineraries which have flights included and free suite upgrade on sailings over 13-days.
