Care to cruise France, Portugal, or perhaps South-East Asia, China or Egypt?  Viking River Cruises can’t wait to get you there.

What’s more, the popular river cruise line is offering deals including fly free on certain itineraries, airline upgrades, and big savings on cruises of 13 days or more next year.

The 2019 river cruise brochure features two new itineraries, one an eight-day Rhône Explorer itinerary, a round trip from Lyon, taking guests on the the centuries-old trade routes along the Rhône.

Highlights for wine buffs include a tour to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and there’s also the sights of Roman ruins in Vienne and Lyon to behold.

Then there’s the enticing prospect of Viking’s 10-day Holland and Belgium in Bloom tour from Amsterdam to Antwerp – or the reverse journey. Guests will cruise through canals and rivers through the inland waterways of both countries, with the option to tiptoe through the tulips – or rather, cycle – or marvel at the Keukenhof Gardens.

Viking is offering a heap of deals on bookings made before April 2018, such as fly free on itineraries of more than 13 days for certain destinations and suite categories.

Other specials include conditional free flights on bookings of longer cruises or back-to back itineraries. Guests can customise or break up their journey to Europe with stopover flight deals across a choice of airlines.
