Uniworld’s U River Cruises had to cancel their April 2020 voyages due to weak demand for early spring itineraries.

The line said they will resume in May.

“With strong demand skewing towards the summer and fall seasons, we’ve decided to update U’s 2020 inaugural departure date to early May, which will feature the brand’s previously announced new itineraries and programming,” a U River Cruises spokesperson told Cruise Critic.

U River Cruises offer five 2020 itineraries: an Amsterdam to Frankfurt cruise called “Rolling on the Rhine; “Amsterdam and Brussels Bound”; a sailing from Vienna to Belgrade called “Eastern Europe Escape”; “Vienna Vibe” from Vienna to Nuremberg and a Christmas markets themed cruise called “Dashing through the Danube”, a sailing from Budapest to Regensburg.

The line has two ships in the fleet. The A returns on 15 May 2020, while The B, which was absent last season, starts operations on 1 May.
